An elder Cherokee Indian was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them: “A fight is going on inside me. It is a terrible fight, and it is between two wolves”.

One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

The same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too. They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed”.

Boxing - I love it! I can honestly say it’s the only thing that allows me to escape “everyday stresses”.

I’m in the zone... “my zone”... no interuptions, no thoughts about what I need to do later on... gloves on, it’s my time.

It’ where I build my strength, my confidence, I become more alert & sharp with my punches and quicken my reflexes... not just physically, but, mentally, as well.

What I experience, I want my clients to experience... with the pain and sweat, come the rewards and there are many.

Boxing helps me keep the jar of “regrets” empty.

My mission is to make everyone that I train get the most out of life.

Through my training, guidance & knowledge, I really believe you can get the most out of life.

You feel better, you start to look better and physically / mentally feel more energised.

We all talk about healthy mind and healthy body, but, how many actually experience it? It’s a combination of training, eating clean, sleeping, liking yourself, aiming for better, being proud of your choices, prioritising, and above all... believing that you can!

I have been boxing since 2000. I have trained with professional Australian fighters and will continue to train and further my knowledge till the day I rest.

I work out of St. Kilda PCYC and just recently opened up my own little studio in Camberwell.

St. Kilda PCYC - is all about improving communities through youth development. If we can train and get healthy / fit, why not do that and support the gym that helps the youth and under privilege?

Keep up the great work, PCYC.

Camberwell is my new baby - private studio (upstairs from Hypoxi).

One-on-ones · group circuits · mums & bubs · and lots of sweat and tears.

I’m so excited about Camberwell!

“When I first trained with Suzie I was recovering from a serious illness which involved three operations and two months in hospital. I had multiple spinal fractures and was in a fair amount of pain. I had a marked stooped appearance as a result of the fractures. I had lost confidence in my physical being.
I responded positively almost immediately to Suzie’s professionalism, her caring and warmth. She was extremely careful not to injure me but at the same time she built my confidence and encouraged me to challenge myself.
I have trained with Suzie for two years now. I am fitter than ever before and my posture has been transformed. Even though I lost height with the fractures I look taller and actually “feel” taller.
In May this year, Suzie conducted a boot camp on the Greek island of Santorini. She took six clients from Melbourne and trained us on the island. I was very apprehensive because of my ongoing medical condition but she nagged, cajoled and encouraged me and I finally agreed to make the trip. I had a truly wonderful time and now have the confidence again to travel and generally step outside my comfort zone.
Suzie did not just restore my body, she also was instrumental in my living my life again. I am extremely grateful to have Suzie in that life both as a trainer and friend.”

“She transformed me from a tired, listless, overweight, exercise-despising slob to someone who loves exercising and has lost weight.
She works with you to create an individual program that’s designed for your needs. Not only does she fill you up with energy and inspiration, she provides an ongoing plan that incorporates your eating habits and work routines.
Over the years, I have tried every gym, trainer, gym class etc around. Nothing comes close to Suzi. She’s simply the best. ”

“I have been training with Suzie for 3 years, 2 - 3 times a week and it is the one non - negotiable part of my life.  Suzie’s enthusiasm, knowledge and dedication to her clients is unparalleled. Suzi trains harder than any of her clients and is constantly increasing her knowledge, so she can share it with us. In my training sessions I am also pushed to my limit and always feel a great sense of achievement at the finish. The training sessions are constantly changed so that all parts of the body are strengthened, challenged and balanced. Without fail, these sessions are most enjoyable part of my week.”
Ambuja Hunt, Interior Designer
“I’m a 25 yr old full time nanny and have PT sessions with Suzie at least 3 times a week. She always pushes me to my limits which is exactly what I need. A great trainer and an amazing person who runs a very intense boxing class!”
